People are very happy to subsidise activities that are successful. This seems quite logical, because one supports a good cause and has mutual revenue in the process. It is completely silly however. One should subsidise activities which are not mainstream, outside the box and unfamiliar. That’s where opportunities and solutions lie. One should subsidise those who are less able to ‘fit’ in society in finding ways to expand their abilities, also giving higher variety and flexibility.
Survival of the human species will not be found in the ability to gain riches, but in the ability to adapt.
