2016 Olympic Games dropped

A special committee has been formed by IOC to stop Rio Olympic Games 2016. Spokesman Samaranch jr. told us, there has been a coup in the organization of this year’s olympic games, quitting all operations and funds towards planned activities. “We are not going to make it and realizing that, we decided to put our effort towards more positive developments.”

The newly formed committee will use all funds and activities to make buildings and newly created infrastructure available for all slum dwellers who live in the favela’s. It considered the way IOC worked towards the games and realized that everything precedently went wrong. IOC itself is under scrutiny because of fraud and Brazil won’t be in time with all arrangements anyway. Besides that, zika virus takes its toll and a high percentage of athletes will not compete. Issues with regard to doping, possible outcome on world politics and risks taken towards terrorist attacks, tipped the scales on deciding against the games.

Realizing negative effects in sentiment and feelings for sponsors, athletes and world citizens alike, IOC contacted Niantic Inc. (Pokémon Go developers, red) for a free virtual Olympic Game version called Olympic Gym. This game will be released at the time the games were supposed to begin and accompanied by openings activities as planned for the original games. Athletes will be replaced by Pokémon and all sports will be represented with complete planning as intended. These Pokémon games will follow all activities as planned and will be televised accordingly. Main difference will be that outcome of the games will depend on every world citizen joining in, actively supporting individual Pokémon. The newly formed IOC comittee is convinced this alternative will accommodate the world peace process and do some good for Brazilian politics and its economic situation alike.
